Remember the Daffodils

Every Spring, I remember seeing Daffodil's pop up at random.  I never payed much attention to them because they happened so frequent.  Then when a frost came, they were gone.  Being that I don't live near my family anymore; there are always things that trigger memories of my childhood and it makes me miss home. 

Today the wind was blowing, leaves were shaking, and it started to pour.  Once the rain stopped I looked outside only to see that the daffodils were still standing tall even though everything around them seemed chaotic.  So I decided to share a simple beauty with you.  Even though you look at them everyday in your yard.. Wherever you may be... 

Remember that its never too late in life to remember the little things. Even if they are as simple as a Daffodil.

I had so much fun on this photo shoot.  We decided to do this at the Airborne Museum in Downtown Fayetteville, NC.  These two ladies have been through so much with losing their loved one that I felt really honored to be given the chance to catch this beautiful family on film. Even when we lose the ones we love, we still find a way to carry on with a little piece of them.
